C/F(Check/Fixture) Process

Description of Each Development Step

Step 01. Parts 3D Data Review

The first step in C/F (Checking and Fixture) Jig development. We receive data from customers through pre-verification for the production of C/F Jig and review possible problems during processing, assembly, and inspection.

The review process is a proactive task to reduce manufacturing time and increase the accuracy rate in C/F Jig.

Step 02. SPEC / Tooling Plan

This stage is to establish a final C/F jig manufacturing plan after determining each specification by installing a separate pin and gauge clamp according to the material, shape, and measurement method desired by the customer.

To reduce production time/costs, we organize and operate TFT, and improve quality through the constant exchange of opinions with customers.

Step 03. Detailed Design

This stage is to proceed with the 3D CAD design engineering each part of C/F Jig according to the specification/manufacturing plan. We apply concepts and designs that match the characteristics of production specifications, and complete design data without defects by conducting design reviews at all times.

INTYCO suggests and applies the best methodology considering each tooling equipment and process.

Step 04. CAM Tooling

This step is for the actual processing. Machining process is done with equipment such as MCT (Machining Center), Milling, and CNC Lathe.

Depending on the material, characteristics, shape, measurement location, and method of the product, additional equipment, product composition, and manufacturing time may vary.

Step 05. Assembly / Measure

This stage is of assembling the parts processed in the previous step. Each machined part is assembled to the C/F Jig base, and parts can be separately machined and assembled when necessary.

The assembled C/F Jig is self-measured and undergoes a process of correction and review to minimize possible errors that may occur when measuring the dimensions of injection parts in the future.

Step 06. Inspection

This is the final stage of C/F Jig development, the inspection phase. To accurately measure the dimensions of ‘Product gap & flush’, we conduct precision inspection. CMM, laser, scanner, etc. are used as the main equipment.

When completing the inspection, quality assurance is provided through the inspection report, and preparation for shipment is made.
